Paul Campbell has shared with us a lovely shot of a Striated Heron.
Predominantly a coastal water bird, to our knowledge this is the first time a photo of the species has been taken in the catchment.
We have added the photo and information about its size and feeding habits to our Field Guide to Rare and Vagrant Birds in the Catchment.
