Spring has sprung and there was a decided spring in the step of Federal MP Jane Prentice along the banks of Moggill Creek as she declared the official start of the MCCG Green Army Project 2016-2017.

The Green Army is a team of inspired young locals who revere the indigenous history of the land and are committed to its environmental preservation.

Cat’s claw, Madeira vine, glycine and green panic are all being strategically targeted for controlled eradication by the Green Army around Upper Brookfield, Smith’s Rainforest Refuge and at various point along Moggill Creek.
